Five Faces of a Fit....

Not to be outdone by his cousin Jack's fit throwing, Oakland had to put in his expertise in this department...
Face 1 - I am getting frustrated
Face 2 - My anger is starting to rise
Face 3 - Consider this your warning that I am about to erupt
Face 4 - Eruption has occurred
Face 5 - The Apocalypse
This fit could've been a result of the embarrassment over his girly elephant onsie... who knows?

S'more Fun

Summer is almost here and life is already getting crazy.... I haven't had much time for blogging lately. But we have been doing some fun things ----
View of Utah Lake from behind our house

Two weekends ago, we took the 4-wheelers up behind our house. We roasted hot dogs and made TONS of yummy S'mores. Its always a huge mess when you have six kids layered in dirt and marshmallows but they had a good time. The kids caught a little lizard and kept him captive for the better part of the afternoon. That poor little thing probably thought his life had ended when he saw TWELVE feet running after him and TWELVE hands trying to grab him. The view from up behind our house is so gorgeous! Its hard to believe this is less than a mile from where we live everyday!
Emma-Kate - no one seemed to want to sit by her..

Lenny the Lizard

Later that evening, the kids wanted to sleep in the tent.. keep in mind this was still the first of May so it was pretty cold. We tried to convince them it was too cold but, you know kids.... So, Reddy went to work putting the tent up and the girls dressed in pj's, gloves and stocking hats! I am sure our neighbors don't know quite what to think of our family!

Getting ready for the campout that never happened... they got too cold around 10 pm.
